So what are "Advanced Learning Techniques?"
Remember back to school, college or university, when the teacher stood at the front of the room and just talked for hours on end and you nearly fell asleep?
We don't do that!
We have a "Brain Break" approximately every 45 minutes and get you up and moving around ( often doing something silly) or just get you laughing so your wide awake and able to learn to the best of your ability.
Have you ever wondered why you find it difficult to recall the headline on yesterday's paper, yet if you hear a song that your haven't heard for years, the words come flooding back as soon as it starts?
Our philosophy is that learning should be made fun, because if you're laughing you're listening, and if you're listening you're learning!
People learn in different ways; some are visual learners who remember pictures and create linked images in their mind, some people are auditory learners who prefer to listen and read,and the kinaesthetic learners love to get physically involved and just give things a go.
Our coaches utilise all three learning styles throughout the course, to teach everything from remembering the names of your classmates, to the elements that comprise each living cell in the human body.
At the start of your massage course you learn about effective communication skills, how to build great relationships and to identify the different behaviours and characteristics that people exhibit. We continue to encourage you to practice your advanced communication techniques everyday, because,making people feel special, important and worthwhile is vital to the development of successful relationships and ultimately a great business.
After graduating from one of our massage schools, it is often the fun kinaesthetic environment our students remember most; our massage and palpating activities wearing blindfolds is always a favourite as are birthdays!
