The Certificate IV in Massage Therapy is a great introduction to the world of massage and once you have this entry qualification you can be licensed and insured to work professionally, either in clinics or from home and earn between $40 – $80 an hour.
The course teaches Swedish, Thai, Sports, and Seated Massage techniques, so you can confidently provide a full-body relaxation treatment to clients. With this qualification you could work in a day spa, resort, beauty clinic, or start your own at-home massage clinic.
The Certificate IV is taught full-time on campus as either:
Fast Track (FT) 24 week program is part of our Remedial Diploma program, taught together with our Australian students or
Standard (ST) 42 week International E-classroom program which is ideal if you need a more flexible and longer schedule to allow you to work at your own pace and minimise stress having to keep up with a Fast Track class.
If you’re looking for a long-term career in the industry, the HLT52021 Diploma of Remedial Massage is widely considered to be the minimum qualification due to its extensive treatment skills and ability for clients with private healthcare insurance to claim a rebate and Myotherapy as the ultimate manual therapy qualification. But the good news is you can always upgrade to the Diploma after completing the Certificate IV in Massage!

HLT42021 Certificate IV in Massage Therapy
As a relaxation therapist you will be able to treat the soft tissue of the body, to help clients achieve improved circulation, pain relief, reduced stress and anxiety, assisted recovery from injury, aided sleep and relaxation, and enhanced flexibility.
You can study either full-time oncampus in class or, you can choose for self-directed online study but with on-campus support from our tutors in our E-classroom (SDEC mode) if you require a more flexible schedule of study.
